UEFA Europa League
PAOK FC lost to Villarreal on the away-leg 1-0. However, PAOK managed to off-set this loss when Villarreal travelled to Toumba stadium for the return leg. PAOK beat Villarreal 1-0, before another drawn match with Club Brugge in Toumba.
PAOK travelled to Stadion Maksimir in Zagreb for the final match with Dinamo Zagreb. Gate 4 celebrated long into the night after full-time with Dimitris Salpigidis scoring the only goal of the match in the 60th minute. Sapligidis' goal put PAOK second on the group ladder, one point behind Villarreal.
Super-League
PAOK are currently in 3rd place in the Greek Super-League; on equal points with AEK Athens, on 24, (drawing 1-1 with Panserraikos just this morning); behind Olympiakos (33), and Panathinaikos (31). PAOK, however, remain one point clear of city rivals Aris FC.
PAOK's end to January 2011 will be marked with a derby match against Aris on the 30th.
Other up-coming matches in January, for the National Cup, will include the Panathinaikos-AEK Athens derby and Olympiakos against PAOK
