A-League Premiers Plate: Wellington Phoenix. After a string of form coming into the finals, and Heart's side all falling ill to the mysterious can't-win-a-match-itis, Phoenix became the darkhorse of the competition. P.Ifill and C.Greenacre score 15 goals between them in the finals to put them at the top of the goal scorer's list.
A-League Champion: Sydney FC for losing like a champion week after week. It takes skill to lose like that all the time you know.
Golden Boot: After the visa problems and subsequent removal of S.van Dijk and Solorzano from the country, Juko Makela ends Sydney FC's season on a high, scoring no less than 20 goals in only 8 appearances.
Johnny Warren Medalist: I.Fyfe. Why? Just because.
W-League Champion: Adelaide

Headline we will see: Assistant Coach: Vidmar's pissants do it again! .
Headline we won't see: Sydney FC to sign a player over 30 years old and on a one year deal.
James
