Don't you just love it when the product meets expectation?
The season that we were all so looking forward to six months ago has lived up to the hype. Not many of us could be disappointed with what we have seen in the A-League 2012/13 regular season.
Obviously the big winners are the FFA and the Wanderers whilst the big losers Melbourne Heart who have gone backwards (and a long way backwards at that).
The last round was still alive for most coming in but the staggered matches meant that the next team knew exactly what was needed, which wasn't ideal but something that we will have to live with.

1. This season. Best yet.
2. Melbourne Victory's third goal. Class and cheekiness wrapped into one.
3. WSW away crowd at Newcastle. Brilliant.
4. Clint Bolton retiring. One of the greats of the A-League.
5. The Football Sacks April Fools Joke. We made the paper!6. Del Piero. It's the last time I can slot him in this season.

8. The new stand at NIB Stadium. Looks like a proper football place now.
What went over the Crossbar (Dislikes)
1. Melbourne Heart and Wellington's season. Plenty of soul searching to do over the winter.
2. Cow paddocks. play football before the rugby. Simple.
3. Refs. We've held off all year because they have a tough job, but they get a 4.5 out of 10 from us this season.
4. It's five long months until the season starts again!
Too early to call:
Melbourne Heart will start next season with a new manager and a proper marquee player.
Something we learned:
Tony Popovic should be the next Socceroos coach.
Something we already knew:
The Western Sydney Wanderers fans have been unbelievable and have shown eight other clubs up. Lets hope that its a WSW / Victory Grand Final.
Hero of the Week:
Danny McBreen. Scored a penalty for the Mariners. Unbelievable!
Villain of the Week:
The FFA. The Premier's Plate should have been presented to the WSW on the weekend, there and then.
This week's prediction:
1. Smeltz will score against Melbourne Victory if he plays.
2. Brisbane will beat Adelaide.
