Bayswater kept up their unstoppable march to the league title with another win whilst Cockburn dented Floreat's title challenge. Perth finally bought Inglewood's winning streak to an end in emphatic fashion and there was at last cause for celebration at Armadale as they leapfrogged Perth Glory in the race for the wooden spoon.

Adam Tong scored a last-gasp winner on debut to help Bayswater extend their unbeaten record with a 2-1 win over ECU Joondalup. Gustavo Giron Marulanda continued his recent good form when he swept home David Heagney’s cross to give the visitors an early lead but a battling ECU refused to let them add to their lead. Joondalup continued to fight hard in the second half and thought they’d won a share of the points when Stuart Montgomery headed home late. But Tong netted an even later winner before a fracas between the two sides saw both goalkeepers given their marching orders to end the game on a sour note.
Floreat Athena 3 (Arnold 22’, McMahon 43’, 58’)

Cockburn came from behind twice to deliver a massive blow to Floreat’s title hopes. The hosts started strongly and only the actions of Cockburn ‘keeper Curtis Aspden kept them from hitting the lead before City striker Rory Patterson won and converted a penalty up the other end. Phil Arnold equalized for Athena almost immediately before their skipper Lewis McMahon gave them the lead heading into half time. Cockburn were back on level terms when Conor Kavanagh tucked home Harry O’Brien’s cross only for McMahon to once again restore Floreat’s lead minutes later. There was another twist to come though when Liam Murray smashed home for the away side with 15 minutes to play and despite an avalanche of pressure from Athena they were able to claim a well-earned point.
Perth SC 3 (Keltie 14’, Ambrogio 36’, Pritchard 90+4’)

Dorrien Gardens
Perth snapped Inglewood’s unbeaten streak with a comfortable victory at Dorrien Gardens. Azzuri skipper Clark Keltie continued his rich vein of goal scoring form with an early header before Nic Ambrogio rounded off a lovely team move to double the lead before half time. Inglewood refused to die wondering though and tested Perth custodian Francis Soale after the break. Brian Woodall had the best chance for the visitors when he rounded Soale but he couldn’t keep his shot on target and the miss was punished when Matt Milenkov was brought down in the area and Mark Pritchard dispatched the resultant penalty to seal the win.

Armadale 4 (Hodgson 33’, 45’, Talimdzioski 45+2’ OG, Bealey 82’)

Armadale moved off the foot of the table for the first time this season thanks to a come-from-behind 4-2 win in the battle of the cellar dwellers. Perth Glory were off the mark within the opening minute when Nic Talimdzioski fired home from Tom King’s cutback and the striker had his second not long after when his low shot beat Armadale ‘keeper Dylan Wilson. However, the game took a turn when ex-Armadale defender Nathan Costello was controversially given his marching orders and Danny Hodgson curled home the resulting free kick. Just before half time Hodgson won and converted the spot-kick to level the scores and then Talimdzioski diverted Mitch Castrilli’s shot into his own net to give Armadale the lead at the break. In a frantic second half, Hodgson had a chance at a hat-trick after Faustino Machochi was bought down in the area only for Jordan Franken to make a save. Unfortunately for Perth, Jackson Bealey tucked home from a goalmouth scramble soon after to seal the points and consign Perth to the foot of the table.
Stirling Lions 2 (Purton 40’, Quinncroft 64’)
Sorrento 4 (Brad McDonald 14’, 74’, Steven McDonald 32’, Luca 90+2’)

Sorrento continued their recent good form whilst simultaneously extending Stirling’s winless run. Brad McDonald gave the away side an early lead before Steven McDonald extended the lead after reacting quickest to his own rebound. Steve Purton fired home just before the break, the Lions’ first goal in five games, to set up an exciting second half. Billy Quinncroft equalized for the hosts midway through the second half but Stirling’s delight was cut short soon after thanks to Brad McDonald’s long range effort. Stirling pushed men forward in an effort to save the game but Adam Luca’s injury time strike sealed the win for Sorrento.
Subiaco 1 (Booysen 65’ PEN)

Lowly Subiaco surprised Balcatta to pull off a 1-0 win at Rosalie Park. The visitors, buoyed by their 6-0 thrashing of Stirling the week before, had the better of the early exchanges. Steve Sokol came closest when his volley crashed back off the bar but Subiaco’s Ger Fitzgerald won a penalty against the run of play. However, Clint Davies thwarted Danny Milne’s penalty to keep the game scoreless at half time. Balcatta's Patrick Quinn came closest to breaking the deadlock in the second half, but Ryan Montgomery was equal to his shot, before Joshua Booysen won another penalty for the hosts. This time, Booysen stepped up and made no mistake, which proved to be enough as Subiaco held on for a victory.
