TFS Preview: Brisbane Roar v Melbourne Heart

Sunday, November 14, 2010

Who's game enough to bet against the Roar? Not me, especially after their dominant performance against the Reds last weekend.

Any question marks over the quality of Ange Postecoglou's squad were erased after their 4-0 drubbing of Adelaide.

Brisbane are riding on some great form at present, how much longer will it continue? At least another week in my opinion.

It's obvious Postecoglou is hungry for more, and after erasing that question mark last week, will be keen to add an exclamation point with a victory over the Heart this weekend.

The Heart, on the other hand, are also coming off a spirited victory.

Although unconvincing against the Fury, there's no doubt the Heart will come out swinging after it's been suggested that the Fury were the better side for the majority of the contest.

For me, the Roar will continue their hot form for the time being, however, the experienced Heart will have a point to prove.

Can the Heart send the Roar into a plateau… probably not.

Player to watch

Thomas Broich had immediate impact in their match against the Reds last week. He continued to take shots but has failed to convert. The Roar's star import is overdue; look for him to take his chances early.
