Melbourne Heart's chance to make an early play for top spot on the Hyundai A-League ladder took a blow after Simon Colosimo deliberately handled the ball inside the box and saw red. We feel he took our tagline far too seriously and grabbed the A-League by the ball, a 1-1 draw the ultimate result.
It's the first time in a long while Colosimo has been referred to as a 'handy' player.
Reduced to 10 men, Heart could have still snatched the win late on in the game were it not for an exceptional goalline clearance from Boxall.
The first goal at AAMI Park went to Heart in the 20th minute after Behich crossed it to Fred who had his back to goal. The Brazilian laid it off to an on running Thompson who slammed home first time to give the home side the advantage in front of almost 11 thousand fans.
Wellington converted the resultant penalty from Colosimo's error, Ifill drawing the game 1-1 in the 48th minute.
