This week we look at Central Coast Mariners and look at the likes of Petrie, Simon and Sutton.

1. Wayne O'Sullivan - After retiring in 2007 Wayne went on to assistant coach at Wellington Phoenix for the 2008-09 season and then coach of the Newcastle Jets W-League side between the years of 2009-2012.
2. Andre Gumprecht - Andre played in the state leagues for Bonnyrigg White Eagles, Sydney Olympic and Lake Macquarie City after leaving the Mariners in 2009. He is now the assistant coach at the Newcastle Jets W-League side.
3. Stewart Petrie - After playing 41 games for the Mariners and scoring a handy 10 goals Stewart went on to play for Wollongong Wolves in 2007 and then returned home to Scotland to finish his playing career at Ross County where he played in the promotion winning side. He is now the current assistant manager at Scottish second division side Arbroath FC who are sitting just outside of the qualifying spots.
4. Andrew Clark - Clarke finished his playing career with the Mariners after 84 games and moved straight into the Mariners strength and conditioning role after studying during his playing career. Clark is still in the role today.
5. Ian Ferguson - Ferguson played in the A-League's inaugural season for the Mariners but only ended up tallying up playing 2 minutes of football before retiring to concentrate on coaching. He started off as the Mariners assistant coach (2007-09) and then got his first full-time coaching role at the now defunct NQ Fury (2009-10). His most recent role was with Perth Glory for three seasons where he took them to the Grand Final in 2012.
6. Tony Vidmar - With 76 caps for the Socceroos Vidmar retired after the 2008 Grand Final loss to the Newcastle Jets where he gave away the winning goal to Mark Bridge. The former Rangers defender is now assistant coach of the Australian Under 17's and could find himself as the head coach if Alistair Edwards gets the head role at Perth Glory.
7. Damien Brown - Brown played 40 games for the Mariners between the years of 2005-08 and is now the youth team assistant coach for the Mariners.
8. David D'Apuzzo - Brother of Wanderers defender Adam D'Apuzzo, David has been playing for his hometown club of APIA Leichhardt in the NSWPL since he got released in 2010 after playing 10 games for the Mariners.
9. Sasho Petrovski (also formerly Sydney FC, Newcastle Jets) - Two game and one time Socceroo goal scorer Petrovski played in the first six seasons of the A-League for three different clubs playing 122 games and scoring 36 goals. He won the Premiership with Mariners in the 2007-08 season and the A-League Championship with Sydney FC in the 2005-06 season. He played for the Wollongong Wolves in the NSWPL up until the end of 2012.
10. Mile Jedinak - Since leaving for Europe in December of 2009 he moved to Turkey for a couple of seasons with Genclerbirligi and Anstalyaspor. Mile then made one of the best moves of his career moving to English Championship side Crystal Palace where after just one season he was named captain of the high flying side. He continues to be praised for his performances and is in very high regard of manager Ian Holloway. Palace are currently sitting in fourth position and in contention for promotion.
11. Matt Crowell - Crowell played 13 games in his one season in the A-League before moving back to his homeland of the United Kingdom. He played for a few lower division English, Wales and Spanish sides before returning to Wales where he currently plays for Welsh Premier League side Port Talbot Town FC who are on the verge of qualifying for the Europa League qualifying.
12. Shane Huke - Englishman Huke only played three games in his short A-League career so after the 2009 season finished he moved back to his homeland of England and currently playes for Dover Athletic in the Conference South.
13. Matt Simon - Matty Simon moved to Asia during last season to chase the overseas dream although he has only made a handful of appearances for Korean side Chunnam Dragons so I don't think it will be too long before we see him again down under.
14. Chris Doig - Doig ended up playing a couple of seasons in the A-League before moving to Indonesian side Pelita Raya. He then went on to English League Two side Aldershot Town and he now plays for York City in League Two. 13 seems to be his lucky number as for Mariners he played 13 games in each season and currently sits on 13 appearances for York City this season so far.
15. Patricio Perez - Ah yes, the guy who dived. We all know remember him, don't we? From what I can find he is currently playing for Chilean side Coquimbo Unido having played four games in 2012.
16. Marc Warren - Zero games, Zero goals, zero minutes for the Mariners but I thought I would throw him in anyway. Marc is currently applying his trade for Airdrie United in the Scottish First Division.
17. Alex Wilkinson - Former Mariners captain Wilkinson played every single season of the A-League up until the end of last season when he moved to Korean side Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. He has played one game so far in the 2013 season.
18. John Sutton - Sutton came to the Mariners on loan from Hearts in Scotland to help the Mariners up front after the loss off Matt Simon in January of 2012. Sadly he didn't contribute as much as Arnold would have wanted playing eight games and only scoring once. This season so far he's played 34 games and scored seven goals for the Scottish top division club.
