The three week crusade does include time for Seb Ryall and Rhyan Grant to nip down to Florence and pick up some leather jackets, however Brett Emerton's request of a day trip to Rome so he can do the speech from Gladiator (My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius... father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next) from inside the Colosseum has been denied.
The team and staff will depart for the preseason tour on Friday, but first play Macarthur Rams tonight in a friendly at Campbelltown Stadium (7:30pm kickoff). Homebase for the duration of the tour will be Jesolo.
