Glory became to dictate the temp of the game, dominating possession as Heart dropped deep and defended from the halfway line.
However, they were unable to make their superiority tell with Scott Jamieson coming closest to breaking the deadlock as he hit the woodwork with a curling effort from the corner of the box.
With Danny Vukovic virtually a spectator for most of the half, Heart did finally muster another effort on goal just before the interval but Golgol Mebrahtu shot harmlessly wide.
Glory again controlled possession at the beginning of the second half and were rewarded with the game’s opening goal when Jamie Maclaren capitalised on a slip from Kisnorbo to fire home at the second attempt after Redmayne had saved his first shot.
Italian midfielder Andrea Migliorini came close to netting an equaliser but his well struck effort from 25 yards flashed just wide of Vukovic’s right hand post.
Brazilian import Sidnei looked dangerous all afternoon on the left wing for Glory, taking on Jason Hoffman at every opportunity, and he forced Redmayne into a smart save just after the hour mark.
Maclaren came close to a second but dragged a shot across goal, and the underage international made way another exciting youngster, Daniel De Silva, shortly after.
David Williams almost stole a point for the visitors with the last kick of the game but Vukovic got down well to turn his effort around the post.
Ultimately, one goal was enough for Glory to claim their first win of the season against a very poor Heart side who have a lot of work to do.
