Condo's Weekly Wrap: Get some up 'ya!

"SYDNEY FC WIN!" For 10/11th's of the competition these are the words we knew we were going to hear eventually - but were so hoping we wouldn't.

The Bling are back and forget about the Killer B's, it was Triple B (Bruno the Balding Brazilian) who scored 2 goals to give Vitislav Lavicka his first win since lifting the toilet seat back at Etihad Stadium on March 20.
Sydney defeated Perth Glory 3-0, who would have struggled even with Robbie Fowler and January transfer target Wayne Rooney in the team. Perth have now not won since Sept 5, and are in a downward spiral that won't be matched until Justin Beiber hits puberty.

Adelaide stretched their unbeaten run to 11 this season with a comprehensive second half display against the Wellington Phoenix (3-0) who surely now are getting advice from their accounts department on whether it is worth spending the money on traveling over to Australia every second week when they can just stay at home and not get any points. Goals to Van Dijk, Flores and Dodd in the space of 6 minutes set up the win and set's up a mouth watering clash with the team that has owned them for the past 9 meetings at Etihad Stadium this coming Friday.

Gold Coast United traveled to AAMI Park on Saturday and proceeded to once again put on a snooze fest for the ages. Miron Bleiberg is on the record as saying he likes his teams to play attractive, attacking football. The only thing attractive about the Gold Coast was the blond fan in the middle of The Beach supporters group. Heart played their part also and look a totally different side than the one that beat Victory a few weeks back - without Sibon, Aloisi and the exciting Alex Terra in the starting line up. Maybe the solarium rays are getting to coach John Van Schip (seriously, who gets that tanned in Melbourne in October?).

The other Melbourne team were totally outclassed by Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane's third game at home in 6 days. My theory is that Brisbane has become so crisp at passing because the are so used to passing the ball through witches hats at training that come game day when they actually dress like witches hats hitting targets becomes second nature. Goals to TFS favorite Mitch Nichols (Christian) and Solorzano were enough to see Brisbane go from could be's to should be's come finals time.

Hero of the Week.
Robbie Fowler
The whole Rooney coming to Perth comment went worldwide, making ESPN and Sky sports. The best A-league commercial yet.

Villain of the Week
Wayne Rooney, for signing up with Manchester United and not Perth Glory. I'll leave this one for you guy.
