Milicevic last pulled on the purple jersey for Glory thirteen years ago and appeared in one of the greatest Grand Finals in Australian club football history; the 2000 Grand Final against Wollongong Wolves. In that match a 19 year old Milisevic scored Glory's second of the afternoon before the Wolves came back to 3-3 and eventually win on penalties.
The Football Sack understands the 32-year-old will join Glory from Victorian Premier League outfit Melbourne Knights, in which he made nine appearances after his signing during the mid-season transfer window.

In his most recent football stint, Milicevic was welcomed with opened arms by his former youth club Knights, who are currently sitting in second position on the VPL ladder largely due to his solid performances in defence.
Consistently in the limelight, he made his return against former side South Melbourne in Round Nine of the competition and started off with a bang, scoring an own goal to give both sides a share of points.
However, his presence in defence has been priceless with the club keeping five clean sheets in his nine appearances and on track to make their first finals appearance since 2008.
In a recent interview with Four Four Two Australia, he was quoted as saying "it's going to have to be an amazing offer to pull me away from the Knights before the season's finished," however with only four games to go in the VPL home and away season it seems Perth's offer was too good to resist.
Milicevic will have fond memories of his initial time at the Western Australian based club, scoring on debut in 1999 and has the honour of being the youngest ever player to score in an Australian Grand Final.
Ljubo Milicevic is of course a welcome addition to the A-League as a whole. An injury free VPL season for the defender should have all fans licking their lips at the thought of seeing one of Australia's most colourful characters back on the football park come October.
